On December 16, 2009, the Office of Advocacy (Advocacy) filed comments with the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement regarding its Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to revise its regulations concerning the conduct of surface coal mining activities in or near streams.
