9.What a pleasant surprise!
(Danville, CA) August 3, 2004 - 5.0/5 stars
I am usually a positive person, but this book made me examine how even the little things I say and do make an impact on people. The book has concise, heartwarming examples and left my bucket overflowing. I would... read full review
10.One of the simplest to follow books.
(Winnemucca, NV) November 4, 2004 - 5.0/5 stars
Written with the simple concept that we all have this bucket that we carry around with us all the time, every place we go. In this bucket we keep our emotions. Sometimes we add to our bucket, a kind word, a pat... read full review
11.Powerful book about Positive Psychology.
(Washington Crossing, PA United States) November 1, 2004 - 5.0/5 stars
I loved HOW FULL IS YOUR BUCKET? by Tom Rath and Donald O. Clifton, a small but powerful book that introduced me to the concept of Positive Psychology . . . instead of focusing on what's wrong with people, Rath... read full review

15.Interesting read, but.....
(Winchester, CA) January 21, 2005 - 4.0/5 stars
The first chapter entitled "Negativety Kills" cites negativity as the major cause of death among American POW's during the Korean War. This couldn't be further from the truth. Certainly some prisoners did mentally "give... read full review
16.Easy Read, Very Clear
(Colorado, USA) March 23, 2005 - 4.0/5 stars
A well written case for how to treat people in daily interaction. How you can add to them, or remove from them. Sure wish managers were required to read this. It's a good layout for being a positive human being in general. Worth the read.
17.Good ideas
(Boston, MA) March 25, 2005 - 4.0/5 stars
Nice book if you are just beginning your plight into the self-help arena. Content is based on the old positive thinking paradigm which has been revised and optimized in Optimal Thinking: How to be Your Best Self. Read both... read full review
18.Great read!
(Morristown, TN) April 1, 2005 - 4.0/5 stars
This was a very worthwhile read. I also have Von-Hippel Lindau, but I strongly recommend it to anyone. It focuses on being positive and having a better outlook on everything. This relates to having health problems, family life, work, or just life in general. A must-read!
