The very start of any human endeavor is a thought.

If you want to start a war, bake a cake, make love, or make a million dollars, you have to start with a notion and that notion must somehow make it's way into reality.

Every day you create your own reality by choosing what you focus on. You can experience this fact empirically in your daily life. Just try focusing on every negative thing you see one day, then the next day (if you haven't killed yourself at the end of the first) focus only on what you see that is beautiful and good.

It's rather obvious isn't it?

This book is about controlling your thought in a way that will attract wealth in your life.

Is this book essential to your success? Well, no book is really. But what this books teaches is essential.

Other teachers of "success" may not spell these ideas out the way Joe does, but that is because they have internalized them and may not be aware they are practicing them - but the fact is they are. It would be impossible to succeed without this approach.

Don't expect a thousand and one ways to make money from this book, but do expect to walk away with the little-discussed and ultra-powerful mindset that is absolutely essential before any tactics you employ will ever work.
