COP15 side event on food security

(Burness Communications) The Danish Minister of Agriculture, the Director-General of FAO, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development will host a panel on December 10 to highlight the role of agriculture and forestry, not only as victims of climate change but as part of its solution, through adoption of practices that both help agriculture to adapt to a changing climate, thereby bolstering hunger and poverty reduction, and reduce emissions in order to avert catastrophic climate change.
