The five awardees are: Alexander Tzagoloff, Ph.D., Columbia University; Thomas Cline, Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley; Barbara J.

Meyer, Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley; William M. Gelbart, Ph.D., Harvard University; and, Utpal Banerjee, Ph.D., UCLA.
