The real dish on mommy bloggers, payola and ethics

Digg - Business & Finance  Wed, 11/25/2009 - 19:30

Somehow the term became a pejorative for "sell-out." Now moms who blog stand accused at every turn of taking freebies, shilling products while secretly on the company payroll and of profiting from a huge payola system of their own devise.

News Story People still fall for scareware?

DaniWeb IT Discussion Community (Featured Entries)  Mon, 10/19/2009 - 11:52

Symantec has published one of those rare things - a report that contains an actual surprise.

Newsvine - business  Tue, 06/02/2009 - 13:00

When Melissa Garcia was frustrated by Old Navy's scanty coupon offerings, she didn't just complain to the store.

She vented on a message board tied to her blog consumerqueen.com, which is read by at least 30,000 people each month and now, increasingly, by corporate America.

Survey Shows How Much People Make in Blogs & Social Media

WebProNews - Financial  Fri, 10/10/2008 - 06:53

Read Write Web conducted a survey with some quite interesting results.

They asked 20 bloggers and social media consultants (that they claim to know and trust) what kind of money they make with their blogging gigs.

The agreement was for RRW not to disclose their names, and for the bloggers themselves to be honest about their earnings.
