(Carbon Disclosure Project) Fifty-eight leading companies globally, including Centrica, Ford and Nissan were surveyed by the Carbon Disclosure Project and AEA Technology to understand how current economic conditions will impact the essential business transformation to a low carbon economy.

The report finds that 97 percent of senior management sees government intervention as the key driver in ensuring the stimulation of a low carbon economy.Also, a majority (four-fifths) of firms surveyed say the recession will have no or minimal effect on their C02 reduction investments.
