New York City (Press Release – October 21, 2011) – Summer Rayne Oakes & Benita Singh, co-founders of Source4Style were honored as the North American laureate for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards at a ceremony held at the Women’s Forum in Deauville, France.

The awards ceremony was a culmination of a six-month intensive process which resulted in three finalists for North America and ultimately one women-owned company being honored with the distinction of Cartier Women’s Initiative Laureate.

(PRESS RELEASE - January 14, 2009) - Created in 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are an international business plan competition given annually to five laureates, one per continent.

For this third edition, we are looking for innovative women-led business projects in the start-up phase. Apply before February 13, 2009.

Who can apply?

Women entrepreneurs of any country and of any nationality are invited to apply by presenting a business project yet to be launched or a company less than 3 years old.
