China Digital TV Holding Co. Ltd (NYSE: STV) 12% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.18 for diluted ordinary shares ($0.20 for basic ordinary shares) 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.19.

Revenues for the quarter were $19.4 million, versus the consensus of $18.80 million. Sees Q3 sales in the range of $15.5-$16.5 million, versus the consensus $21.14 million.

China Digital TV also narrowed its FY08 sales guidance from $79-$84 million to $80-$83 million, versus the consensus of $82.69 million.
