  • United States Oil (NYSE: USO) up 2.33 percent to $33.40. Crude moving higher Friday following retail sales data which added a little bit of confidence to an economic rebound.

    Commerce Department data today had total retail sales increasing 1.1 percent in September from August. Analysts had been expecting just a 0.8 percent rise.

    Excluding automobiles, sales rose 0.6 percent, ahead of the 0.3 percent expected.
  • iShares MSCI South Korea Index (NYSE: EWY) up 2.02 percent to $52.49.
