Delta and Northwest airlines are crossing off one more item on their checklist for becoming the world's biggest carrier, with shareholder votes at both companies Thursday expected to overwhelmingly back the deal combining the two.

Gildan Activewear (NYSE: GIL) 28.8% LOWER; sees Q2 adj-EPS of about $0.35, which is lower than its previously issued guidance of $0.42 and versus the Street consensus of $0.42.

Also lowers its FY08 guidance from $1.85-$1.90 to $1.45-$1.50, versus the consensus of $1.90. Orsus Xelent Technologies, Inc.

(AMEX: ORS) 26.7% HIGHER; announced that it expects to see FY08 revenues in the range of $120-$130 million, compared to sales of $89.9 million last year.

Affymetrix, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFFX) 35% LOWER; expects total revenue for the first quarter of 2008 to be approximately $170 million, including an intellectual property payment of $90 million.

For fiscal-year 2008, the Company has reduced its full year revenue guidance from the previous range of $505 to $525 million to a new range of $490 to $510 million.
