Here’s a list of chief executives who oversaw monumental failures that led the nation’s financial system to the edge, but were still able to walk away with big payouts.Public outrage over executive compensation has caused the government to step in.

But history shows government’s attempts have been ineffective in curtailing CEO riches.



 

Why isn't there more public outrage over the gas prices?

Much has been written about this problem, but it seems as though large groups of the general public either doesn't care or wants to defend the oil companies.

Is it because they know they have been duped? Everyone wants to think they are smarter than that, but I think we have all been fooled.

And it makes me a little angry.
