It has not been a good day for Apple. Actually, let me rephrase that - it has not been a good day for Apple customers.

Here in the UK supplies of the Jesus Phone, the all new iPhone 3G, were scarce to say the least. Those people who did brave the early morning queues and get their hands on a handset were soon finding themselves coming down from the temporary high as they tried to activate the devices.

The same problem has apparently been hitting iPhone 3G users the world over.

Airports operator, BAA, has angered airlines by announcing a more than 10% rise in profits from Heathrow last year despite numerous reports of bad customer service, long security queues and poor infrastructure.
