(Autism Speaks) Autism Speaks today announced the awarding of 47 new research grants totaling $13,242,279 in funding over the next three years.

Grants awarded this year not only respond to Autism Speaks funding priorities, but collectively move autism research forward toward improving diagnosis and treatment and quality of life for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

(Arizona State University) Arizona State University researchers to date have received more than $32 million in stimulus package research grants.

For ASU, which has played a very active role in attracting this additional funding, much of these research funds have gone for projects that meet challenges currently confronting society.

(American Federation for Aging Research) Announcement of two recipients of the Julie Martin Mid-Career Awards in Aging Research.

Grants of $550,000 seek to sustain work of researchers and encourage bolder approaches to research on aging.
