In my years of hiring, promoting, and firing people, I saw a lot of resumes come across my desk. Most of them, frankly, were boring.

Some of them were interesting and intriguing, and in many cases, the owners of those resumes won jobs and career advancement.

In this new age of cheap (free) streaming video, it's only natural that some will publish their resume as a video too.

This can be good, if done well. However, video resumes are usually not done well. In fact a quick scan of video resumes on YouTube shows just how bad they can be.
