In this case, effective on Feb. 10, which coincidentally is when the Verizon iPhone reaches retail stores, AT&T customers will have free calling to any U.S. mobile number.


 

Wal-Mart preps to sell the iPad

Wal-Mart surely wasn't happy to see its arch-rival Target get the iPad on Oct. 3rd. Wal-Mart, in May, said it was expecting to begin offering the iPad for sale in its U.S. retail stores "later this year," but it hasn't happened ... yet.


 

Starbucks Embroiled In Aztec Image Use Issue With Mexico

Starbucks has pulled a mug from its retail stores after a claim by Mexico that the coffee company has violated its intellectual property rights.

The claim is for a line of coffee mugs showing pre-Hispanic images.


 

Microsoft Planning Retail Store Unveiling in Scottsdale, AZ

Microsoft has previously said that the Microsoft Retail Stores would open this fall, but been vague about the whole project.

We already knew of a Paris-based Windows "Cafe" that is opening on Oct. 22nd (Windows 7 D-Day), and that Microsoft was hiring away Apple Retail Store managers.

Now we know of at least one retail site that's opening on Oct. 22nd: Scottsdale, AZ.
