Richmond, Va.-based broadcast-and-newspaper company reports total revenues at $193.7 million, a 10.9% decline.

Belo reported earnings per share of $0.10 from continuing operations for the first quarter, before spinoff-related charges, compared with $0.15 in the first quarter of 2007.

Total revenues decreased 2% in the first quarter compared with the same quarter a year ago. Total spot revenue, including political, was down 5%.
