Stifel Nicolaus lifts GMX Resources (NYSE: GMXR) from Sell to Hold. Barclays boosts Seagate Technology (Nasdaq: STX) from Equalweight to Overweight, its price target raised from $21 to $31.

JPMorgan raises Franklin Resources (NYSE: BEN) from Underweight to Neutral, its price target boosted from $91 to $108.

SFN Group, Inc. (NYSE: SFN) 52.1% HIGHER; has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Randstad Holding nv for $14.00 per common share through a cash tender offer, which values the Company's equity at approximately $770 million.

Datalink Corp (NASDAQ: DTLK) 17.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.19, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.11.

Revenue for the quarter came in at $89.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $82.73 million. Sees Q2 2011 EPS of $0.15-$0.19, versus the consensus of $0.12.

UPGRADES J.P. Morgan upgrades AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) from Neutral to Overweight, with a price target boosted 22% from $18 to $22. Click Here for more color.

Goldman Sachs added Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) to its Conviction Buy List, and sees 17% upside to their $42 price target.

Seagate Technology plc (NASDAQ: STX) 18.4% HIGHER; announced Thursday that it has received preliminary interest in transaction to go private.

The company confirmed that it is in discussions with the party from whom it received interest and the company's board of directors is evaluating indication of interest from the party and other possible strategic alternatives.

Molecular Insight (Nasdaq: MIPI) 16% HIGHER; presents positive data from clinical studies comparing Trofex(TM) and ProstaScint(R) for detection of metastatic prostate cancer.

TSYS (NYSE: TSS) 11.8% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.31, versus the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $430.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $435.53 million.

Sees FY10 revs of $1.616 - $1.648 billion, compared to $1.75 billion consensus. Also sees FY10 EPS of $0.95 - $0.97, versus $1.21 consensus.

Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX) 7% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.03, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.65.

Revenue for the quarter was $3.03 billion, which compares to the estimate of $2.85 billion.

UPGRADES: Deutsche Bank upgrades Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX) to Buy.
