starting salary

I just recieved an offer to apprentice as a Data Center Facility Engineer.

This will require me to hire someone to manage my small outsourcing business and as well give 40 hours a week to this company.

The starting salary is very interesting.

Are their any Data Center Facility Engineers on this forum?

If so, could you please give me your feedback about your career position.

I have a four year degree in chemistry.

Now I want to become a computer programmer.

I'm willing to go back to school for a year or two.

For an entry level programmer at this point in time, what's the approximate starting salary if I had an associate's degree in computer science?

How about if I had a master's degree?

In case it matters, I'm in the Northeast.

Job Specifications/ Requirements:

Must have an eye for detail.
Preferably with HTML experience OR software testing experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Be able to analyze and follow procedures in testing websites according to a pre-designed check-list.
Willing to start As Soon As Possible
