Palm Slapped Down by Industry Group Over iTunes Sync

One of the selling points that Palm first made for the Palm Pre is that the webOS device could sync with iTunes.

That, of course, was broken for the second time with iTunes 9.0 (Apple earlier disabled the sync with iTunes 8.2.1).

After appealing to the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) over what Palm said improper use of the Vendor ID number by another member (Apple), Palm received an answer, but not what it had hoped for.
