PicScout, one of several image search solutions, has been mis-informing people of late, and it's not sitting well with me.
In their latest blog entry , dated May 25th, they have made several statements that are factually inaccurate at best, and misleading at a minimum.
PicScout suggested:
if you don’t register your photos with the US copyright office, your claim against any infringer–with or without the OWA–would be based on calculations that are unaffected by OWA....
