Text Messaging Doubles From 2007 to 2008; 52x 2003 Numbers

A startling number gleaned from the Census Bureau's 2010 U.S. Statistical Abstract is the upsurge in text messaging that's taken place over the years.

From 2007 to 2008, for example, text messages doubled from 48 billion to 110 billion. Yes, that's with a "B."
