Verizon and AT&T played "my plan is as cheap as yours" on Friday. First, Verizon started thigns off by cutting the price of their unlimited voice plans by $29 to $69.99.

Verizon also has a $89.99 unlimited voice + text messaging option, as well. Honestly, with their "there's a map for that" ad campaign, did they really need to hit AT&T in the wallet, too?
